Being the highest peak between the Andes and the Himalaya, the puncak Jaya (6,023ft/4,884m) is considered by many to be the most exotic and technically challenging of the Seven Summits, puncak Jaya towers above an equatorial rain forest jungle populated by people that have had little contact with the western world. In addition to cultural tourism, the trekking and climbing to the puncak Jaya would give a particular advantage. We will offer a whole new experience with the closest way to the peak.

Route: Depart from Timika by twin otter to Sugapa village and Trekking to Bulapa – Gamagai – Ugimba – Tambua – Somatua – Base Camp – puncak Jaya (round trip).

Descriptive day to day our itinerary:
Day 1 : Arrival Timika Stay at Rimba Papua Hotel
Day 2 : Final Preparation
Day 3 : Departure to Sugapa, overnight at Bulapa Base Camp
Day 4 : Trek to Ugimba through Gamagae, Weabu River, Dalabuga and overnight at Wanabugi
Day 5 : Trek to Tambua through Somapidupa, Matimu and overnight
Day 6 : Trek to Goad Dunigela through Kemabu River and overnight at Maximus Cave
Day 7 : Trek to Carstensz Base Camp through Danau I, Tunigela Mountain and overnight acclamation
Day 8 – 10 : Summit days (Ascending to puncak Jaya and Victory Peak – Ngga Pulu Peak)
Day 10 – 14 : Descend Trek to Sugapa
Day 15 : Return Fly to Timika

Cost Includes:
1). Climb Permit and Surat Jalan from Police Dept
2). Mountain Guide and porters
3). All transfer service in Timika from Airport to Hotel as return
4). Local Transport for picked up from Hotel to Airport as return
5). Extra Dome Tent for stay camp during expedition (based Twin Share)
6). Acclimatization at Base camp
7). Hotel Rimba Papua in Timika
9). Honai at Tambua Overnight
Expedition Cost Not Includes:
1). Ticket Fares: Jakarta – Timika for return flight USD 500,-/person
2). Personal insurance and Emergency Rescue by Helicopter
3). Personal Expenses such as mini bar Hotel, room Phone Hotel, Laundry, Extra Meals as unmentioned on expedition
4). Cancellation or delay flight from Airlines as force majuer
FINAL CONFIRMATION:
Your final confirmation of your participation in this expedition must be received by us at least 4 (four) months before departure date. Please send your confirmation by email.
